Bridge Grades, sometimes referred to as “the Rotten Tomatoes for Politicians,” is an organization that grades members of the US House and the Senate based on their ability to work together. We discussed the methodology and some of the examples that surprised us when we looked at the website. Check it out here!
We also discussed the need for legislators from both sides of the aisle who know how to govern and work together without compromising their values. We also discussed changing the incentive structures that get Democrats and Republicans to engage in divisive behavior, without governing effectively.
